Travelling by train or bus? In the earlier days, families used to carry lot water from home with them. Now-a-days no body takes that effort. You get to buy water from train and stations. However, you have very high chance of buying chances of buying duplicate product. Take a look at this picture where IRCTC workers are filling bottles with water meant to be used for cleaning train and in toilets.
Before buying water always ensure that seal is intact and the bottle is in good shape.

Where to buy blank t-shirts.

We have got a good deal to market our products. We seemingly had a good deal for getting blank t-shirts and printing designs on them. But we were thrown of track when we got a call from a tshirt manufacturer in Tirupur who has offered to sell us the best quality t-shirt at the price of the worst quality t-shirt being sold in Mumbai.

But then I still called up few whole-sellers in Ludhiana, Punjab (the biggest manufacturers' of t-shirts are here. Even big brands like Nike, ADIDAS, etc have their products manufactured here). I came to know that for them to give an reasonable rate, we will have to order at least 10000 units !!! Unfortunately, we cannot afford this at this stage.

One helpful person from Ludhiana suggested us to buy from Mumbai initially and then when we are ready to scale up to come to Ludhiana an personally check the materials.

We have also asked a friend to create a basic page for our website where we can list our t-shirts.

When science is used to sell religion

These days TV shopping ads are full of adverts of good luck charm. They come in various shapes and size and belong to various gods. If you are not doing good in business then there is a locket blessed by the Goddess of wealth Lakshmi or by Kubera the Lord of the wealth. Or if you are suffering from bad luck then you have a locket of God of Luck Shani or of Lord Shiva. And the list goes on.

The business of promoting and selling religious accessories is as old as the birth of religion itself. It is true in every religion of the world. That is one of the main source of income for religious institutions. And it was like a recurring source of income for them. It was easy back then. People would buy it out of faith. But these days with more and more people becoming atheist or semi-religious these institutions are having difficulty in selling.

So what do they do? Well target the skeptical with an undeniable proof - Science. You can see in the advertisements how they use the word science to attract the viewers.These lockets have been charged with prayers of several week using scientific methods - ha ha. A person who is undergoing a bad patch in his life would sure try this as it sounds so impressive - Two opposite poles in a same product.

What's more, many religious figures are giving misleading figures in their speeches to drive home their point. A religious head had recently said after Section 377 (age old anti-homosexual law) was removed that it has been proven scientifically that homosexuality is curable through Ayurveda. I mean no disrespect to Ayurveda which is an ancient form of medication in India and still very effective and preferable for cure of many diseases. But the above claim is quite far from truth.

The government must put an stop to this. At least Broadcasting ministry should ensure that such nonsense is not shown on TV which has more bluff than any truth in it. If you want to sell a faith based object than you need to sell it that way and not merchandise the product as a high-tech gizmo and sell it to desperate viewers.

When games were just about the fun factor

The only cheat code that I always remember is xyzzyspoon!. You might have guessed it by now that it belongs to the classic game Road Rash. 

Games need not be of high graphics or have a deep storyline. It surely needs to have the fun factor. Game companies are spending millions to make games that require high graphics and memory requirements. However, in quest to make it advance they forget that people play games to have fun. These days hardly any games that are being made have reached iconic stature as that of Mario and Road Rash, except for GTA franchisee.

The genius part of Road Rash was how it handled failure. When you ran out of cash and could not afford to repair your bike, it would be repaired for free, but in exchange you will have to get the repair shop more business by breaking someone else's bike during the next race. If you were arrested and couldn't afford to bribe the police, you had to make sure other bikers got arrested during your next race. 

Fun factor was the same reason why Nitendo Wii outsold Sony Playstaion 3 and Microsoft's xBox. Wii appealed even to non serious gamers who don't want to spend a fortune on gaming consoles or a high end computers.

In order to blow a good smoke ring, you will have to create dense smoke inside your lungs. Hold the smoke there and then open your mouth slowly and deliberately, shaping your lips into a rounded 'O.' and pull your tongue back , as much as possible, as you expel the smoke.

Please note that you are not exhaling the smoke, but simply pushing it out of your lungs through your mouth.  Also keep in mind that this will not work if there is even a slight breeze in the air.  Make sure you try it in a location with still air.
